Novice Courses: Tailored for those new to plant operation, our novice courses lay the foundation for a successful career on the relevant category/s of plant
Experienced Operator Training: Enhance your skills as an experienced operator with our specialized training programs.
Theory Training: A key aspect to safely operating plant within a working environment is largely down to having a strong underpinning knowledge of the machine’s capabilities and limitations as well as the relevant health and safety requirements of your site, through our comprehensive theory training we aim to embed this knowledge in preparation for your career.
Test Only: For those seeking validation of their existing skills, our test-only option is available.
CPCS Certification Journey: Upon successfully completing your CPCS test, you will receive a RED operator’s card which is valid for two years. During this period, you’ll progress towards and complete your NVQ in plant operations specific to the category/s of plant you hold on your card, paving the way to upgrade to a BLUE CPCS competent operator’s card, which is valid for five years.

Assessment Criteria

To qualify for the CPCS test, candidates must meet the following requirements:

CITB HS&E Test Completion: All candidates must have successfully completed the relevant CITB Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) test within two years of their scheduled CPCS test date.

Language Proficiency: A proficient understanding of spoken and written English is essential for all candidates. For individuals not fluent in English, interpreters can be arranged upon request to ensure clear communication.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Candidates are required to provide their own appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for both training and testing purposes. Ensuring compliance with safety standards, candidates must arrive prepared with the necessary gear.
These entry requirements are in place to guarantee a smooth and successful testing experience, fostering an environment where candidates can demonstrate their skills and knowledge effectively.
